We’re hiring a hands-on Service Manager to lead operations and technician teams for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general trade services. If you're passionate about team development and client satisfaction, this opportunity offers a dynamic blend of field and office leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily branch operations and supervise Lead Technicians/Field Supervisors
• Oversee all self-performed services (HVAC, electric, plumbing, general services)
• Coordinate temporary HVAC rentals and ensure project quotes are accurate
• Conduct field visits to support technicians and uphold service excellence
• Resolve client concerns in collaboration with head office
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding technicians
• Build and maintain subcontractor vendor database
• Ensure proper documentation of technician absences (HR coordination)
• Train technicians in safety, job performance, paperwork accuracy, and site surveying
• Oversee branch vehicles for safety, maintenance, stocking, and compliance
• Enforce disciplinary procedures and collaborate with HR on terminations
• Assist with overflow service calls and installations
• Monitor dispatching, labor hours, project costs, and workflow efficiency
• Keep unapplied labor to 5% or less; ensure quoted hours match actuals

Qualifications:

• 5+ years HVAC field experience
• 2+ year in a service management/supervisory role
• Universal EPA Certification (required)
• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Advanced knowledge of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration principles
• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic digital competency for mobile documentation
